UPDATE:
Coast Guard initiates seismic risk study, and National Missile
Defense Agency drafts environmental impact study for the Kodiak Launch
Facility area, based in part on the information from the NASA work done at
Narrow Cape, as reported in last month’s Science Highlight. The environmental
study includes risk assessment from seismic and possible related tsunami
activity.
