Note:  Until Barry Coyle arrived in Iceland to re-align the laser transmitter, all measurements were taken with the beam being bounced off the tube in some fashion so that it was still in alignment, but the beam size and shape would be unknownable.  All measurements between 05/10/96 and 05/27/96 are suspect.  05/27/96 and beyond was great.
