Here is a good close up of the instrument. You can clearly see the water hoses that cool the laser
(bottom right of the box) and the wiring for the PMT tube detector (upper middle of the box).
The black box to the right of the image on the floor of the aircraft is the INS battery (you can
even read it off this image if you tilt you head a bit) incase
of power outages, and so we can run the gyros while the engines and APU are off. There
isn't much else to see in this image, except that the T-39 is a cozey airplane. (and that Signal Kit
2 is easily found in the T-39!)
