R D Ray, A global ocean tide model from Topex/Poseidon altimetry: GOT99.2, NASA Tech. Memo. 209478, Goddard Space Flight Center, 58 pp., 1999.
These harmonic constants for tidal variations in rotation rate and polar motion correspond to the GOT99.2 tide model of Ray (1999). (Note: GOT = Goddard/Grenoble Ocean Tide.) The data are primarily based on the tidal analyses of 6 years of Topex/Poseidon altimeter data, supplemented with several hydrodynamic models in shallow and polar seas. See Ray (1999) for details on model development, as well as for comparisons of the model with tide gauge measurements.
Each pair of numbers below is an amplitude and a phase lag. Amplitude units for UT are microseconds. Amplitude units for polar motion are microarcseconds. Phase units are degrees.
