Description of data files: The coefficients in the tables are all time rate of change in normalized Stokes coefficients in units of 10^-11 per years. The normalization convention is as in James and Ivins [1998] or Ivins et al., [1993]. In other words, these are the same conventions as used by Lambeck or Chao. Each data file has at the very top: Lower Mantle viscosity cases x 10**21 Pa Sec. 1.0000 2.0000 5.0000 10.0000 20.0000 40.0000 70.0000 Which gives the 7 values (in increasing order) for the lower mantle viscosity variation (i.e., the "7th" value is 70.0000x10^21 Pa S and so on). After this top set of numbers come the coefficients: l = 2 cosine terms 0 0.795955 1.696651 2.602525 3.470169 4.130028 3.608200 2.657861 1 0.059559 0.146609 0.232946 0.307982 0.388915 0.354753 0.264942 2 -0.073344 -0.206207 -0.339623 -0.444450 -0.587041 -0.553378 -0.417400 sine terms 0 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 1 -0.109812 -0.393101 -0.652271 -0.851163 -1.194433 -1.138439 -0.853798 2 -0.010245 -0.011236 -0.005523 -0.012957 -0.001229 0.015123 0.016178 and then L = 3... and so on. Each set of 7 coefficients is preceded by the order of the coefficient. So for example the C2,1 coefficient for the lower mantle viscosity of 2.0000x10^21 Pa–s is 0.146609 in units of 10^-11 per year.
